My mother cared for her mother till the day she passed away
Cooked the meals and all those things my mother had to do
The story though is seldom told those stories rarely are
Yet there are some who know because I am one who knew
My sister cared for my mother till the day she passed away
So I write this story for my sister to let her know I knew
